Civilis was born from the union of Bertrand Cape and Félix Molina, two artists who found in Dark Progressive Heavy Metal the perfect language to tell intimate stories wrapped in dense, cinematic atmospheres. Since their debut album I (2018), the band has built a sonic universe where heavy riffs coexist with melodic passages and a conceptual narrative that runs through every release.
With the EP Chapter I: Epiphany (2023), a saga began that continues today with Chapter II: The Sleeping Prophet (2025), their most recent work. Between sleeping prophecies and epiphanies, Civilis invites listeners on a journey — no matter the abyss that lies along the way.
